Reverend Father Lona Kallely, was the principal of St. Basil's High School from 1993-2006. During his tenure of 13 years in school, St. Basil School with a strength of mere 300 has crossed 2000 milestone and irrespective of the backwardness of the area has continuously delivered bright students who are today fighting out neck to neck with the students from different areas and fields. During Rev. Fr. Lona time school came out with a number of additional advantages which were once dreamed off in such areas. School youth festival, annual sports meet and many various cultural items gave students the real exposure of the competetiveness along with the academic intelligence.

i have not yet met a great person like our principal REV. FATHER LONA....in our school time we were scared of him but after passing out we understood his ideals...he is great....FATHER LONA we love and respect you....may god always shower blessing on you....
